2020 Toyota C-HR Picks Up a Revised Look and New Features

By Justin Cupler | October 15th, 2019

The Toyota C-HR arrived in 2018 with an untraditional design that caught the eyes of crossover shoppers across the nation. The 2020 Toyota C-HR looks to build upon its unique design with a restyled front end and new headlights to go along with a smattering of updated features. Here’s what to expect when the 2020 C-HR arrives at Garber Fox Lake Toyota serving Waukegan and the surrounding areas.

Visually, the 2020 Toyota C-HR will roll into our Carol Stream area Toyota showroom with a brand-new front end. A keen eye will pick up on the updated lower grille that now rises higher up the nose and boasts a new mesh-like lower portion, solid center bar, and a body-color underline. Toyota also replaced the outer air vents with larger flat-black plastic pieces for a bolder look.

Ever so slightly revised headlights with softer lines give the nose a cleaner, more windswept appearance. While we’re on those headlights, the base LE trim will gain standard LEDs, which makes LED lights standard across all trim levels, and the Limited model will gain adaptive headlights for improved nighttime visibility.

Other changes to the exterior include new optional 17-inch wheels on the LE trim and redesigned 18-inch rollers on the Limited trim. New colors Supersonic Red and Hot Lava and a new R-Code silver roof in place of white will finish off the exterior mods

Since debuting, the Toyota C-HR has offered added value with standard Apple CarPlay. Starting in 2020, the C-HR will also include standard Android Auto and SiriusXM – the latter was previously only standard on XLE and Limited trims. The XLE and higher trims will also gain new seatback pockets for added storage and a new eight-way power driver’s seat.

Other interior updates will include a new gray headliner on LE and Limited trims, two new color combinations.
