Like Cher, it’s just Yaris. The 2019 Toyota Yaris sedan dropped the “iA” suffix and moves forward boldly and glammed up – and not just with its name. New interior features include leather accents and leatherette-trimmed seats for the range-topping XLE trim and more as you go down the line. The engine offers an available EPA-estimated 40 mpg* highway and new standard safety features like the low-speed pre-collision system. Altogether, it creates a compact vehicle that’s fun, safe, and stylish.

Enjoy a fresh look with the 2019 Yaris’ sport-inspired grille with honeycomb insert design and rear lip spoiler. The elegant sweeping lines match with piano black accents and chrome trim for an upscale look. Toyota will offer the Yaris sedan in seven colors that include Frost, Chromium, Graphite, Stealth, Sapphire, Pulse and the all-new Icicle.

With the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood, the new Toyota Yaris delivers 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. The engine matches up with a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic. Flip a switch to activate Sport Mode for a more spirited driving experience.

The 2019 Yaris sedan will come in three trims:  the L, LE, and XLE. On the XLE trim, the Yaris sedan boasts leatherette-trimmed front seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, shift knob and parking brake, automatic climate control, automatic LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and illuminated entry.

Stay connected with a 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system that boasts voice recognition, remote interface, steering wheel controls, and Bluetooth connectivity. When you put the car in reverse, the screen also displays the standard rearview camera so you can get closer to the perfect parking job. The USB port allows you to keep your phone charged and ready to go when you’re buzzing across town.

Feel confident with the 2019 Yaris’ low-speed pre-collision system. It scans the road ahead for potential vehicle collisions, and if the system detects a potential frontal collision, it will alert you with an audible and visual alert. And if you don’t respond in time, the brakes will activate automatically to stop the vehicle or at least mitigate damage. Every Yaris comes standard with an Active Safety System that includes dynamic stability control, traction control, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, anti-lock brake system, and a brake override system.

The new Yaris sedan will go on sale in fall 2018, but you can see the current inventory of 2018 Toyota Yaris models at Garber Fox Lake Toyota online now. Stop by for a test drive and learn more about how you can lock in your 2019 Yaris sedan today.
